Youth Services

Officer Coreena Behnke is our Youth Services Officer.

Officer Behnke has been with the Portland Police Department since March of 1999. She worked various Patrol shifts prior to becoming the School Resource Officer at Portland High School. Some facts about Officer Behnke’s career at the Portland Police Department are:

  • Received the Myra Kraft Community MVP Award.
  • RAD (Rape Aggression Defense) Instructor since 2002 and recently developed a new program for TEENS that was launched in July of 2015 at the International Training and Certification Conference.
  • Received the Aggressor Award for her dedication to the RAD program.
  • Board member of the Amy St Laurent Foundation.
  • Mentor at the Long Creek Youth Development Center.
  • Employee of the Month for the City of Portland in 2014.
  • Camp Postcard Volunteer Counselor

On a personal note, Officer Behnke enjoys working out, kayaking, photography and spending time with her husband and two children.
