CHRISTMAS TREE DROP OFF & COLLECTION Christmas trees can be dropped off at the following locations during the month of January:
Cutter Street Parking Lot - Eastern Prom (upper lot on right, not sliding hill lot)
Payson Park - Salt Shed Area by the little league area.
Trees dropped off at any of these locations will be taken to Riverside Recycling and chipped up.
Christmas trees can also be left for curbside collection on your normal trash day during the month of January. Trees collected curbside will be co-mingled with trash and taken to ecomaine.
Please remember that wrapping paper IS recyclable, but bubble wrap and styrofoam packaging is NOT. For more holiday recycling tips, visit ecomaine.org
All weekly trash and recycling collection is subject to change due to city holidays, construction, special events, inclement weather, and natural disasters. Future updates will be posted on the News page as well on our social media channels.
